Main Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 cup Chopped Onion
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- ½ cup Vodka
- 1 can Crushed Tomatoes (28 oz)
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- ½ teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
- to taste Salt and Pepper
- ¼ cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
Heat the olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Pour in the vodka and let it simmer until reduced by half, about 5-7 minutes.
Add the crushed tomatoes and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 15 minutes.
Stir in the heavy cream and cook for another 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Remove from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese. Serve over your favorite pasta.
