Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 cup Chopped Onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • ½ cup Vodka
  • 1 can Crushed Tomatoes (28 oz)
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • ½ teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
  • to taste Salt and Pepper
  • ¼ cup Grated Parmesan Cheese

Instructions 

  1. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. Pour in the vodka and let it simmer until reduced by half, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the crushed tomatoes and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and cook for another 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese. Serve over your favorite pasta.
