Cucumber Sunomono Recipe
A light and refreshing Japanese cucumber salad.

Main Ingredients
- 2 cups cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds toasted
1. Thinly slice the cucumbers and place them in a bowl.
2. Sprinkle the salt over the cucumbers and let them sit for 5-10 minutes. Then, rinse and drain them well.
3. In a separate bowl, mix the rice vinegar, sugar, and soy sauce until the sugar dissolves.
4. Add the cucumbers to the vinegar mixture and toss to coat.
5. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds before serving.
