Cucumber Sunomono Recipe
A light and refreshing Japanese cucumber salad.

Main Ingredients
- 2 cups cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds toasted
- 1. Thinly slice the cucumbers and place them in a bowl. 
- 2. Sprinkle the salt over the cucumbers and let them sit for 5-10 minutes. Then, rinse and drain them well. 
- 3. In a separate bowl, mix the rice vinegar, sugar, and soy sauce until the sugar dissolves. 
- 4. Add the cucumbers to the vinegar mixture and toss to coat. 
- 5. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds before serving.
