  • 2 cups Heavy Cream
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt optional

Instructions 

  1. 1. Pour heavy cream into the mixer.
  2. 2. Beat on medium-high speed until the cream separates into butter and buttermilk.
  3. 3. Strain the mixture through cheesecloth to separate the butter from the buttermilk.
  4. 4. Rinse the butter under cold water to remove any remaining buttermilk.
  5. 5. Knead the butter to remove excess water, then add salt if desired.
