Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • ½ cup Rice Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Chili Flakes
  • 2 tablespoon Cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoon water

Instructions 

  1. Combine water, sugar, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and chili flakes in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the cornstarch mixture and whisk until thickened.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool before serving.
