Stuffed Green Peppers Recipe

- 4 green bell peppers tops cut off and seeds removed
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheese optional
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until the beef is browned. Drain any excess fat.
In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef, cooked rice, tomato sauce, salt, and black pepper.
Stuff each green pepper with the beef mixture and place them in a baking dish.
Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 35 minutes. Remove the foil, sprinkle with cheese if using, and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
Serve hot and enjoy!
