Ingredients 

Chicken Marinade

  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon Hot Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper

Chicken Coating

  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 8 pieces Chicken (drumsticks and thighs)
  • 4 cups Vegetable Oil (for frying)

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine buttermilk, hot sauce, salt, and black pepper. Add chicken pieces and marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  2. In another bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Heat oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Dredge marinated chicken pieces in the flour mixture, ensuring they are well coated.
  5. Fry chicken in batches for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
