Pulled Pork Ingredients
- 4 lbs Pork Shoulder trimmed of excess fat
- 1 cup Barbecue Sauce
- ½ cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- ½ cup Chicken Broth
- ¼ cup Brown Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Prepared Yellow Mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tablespoon Chili Powder
- 1 large Onion chopped
- 2 large Garlic Cloves crushed
- 1 ½ teaspoon Dried Thyme
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
1. Place the pork shoulder into the slow cooker.
2. In a bowl, mix together the barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, chicken broth, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, onion, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper.
3. Pour the sauce mixture over the pork shoulder in the slow cooker.
4. Cover and cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours, or until the pork is very tender.
5. Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred the meat using two forks.
6. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and mix it with the sauce. Serve hot.
