Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Crab meat fresh or canned
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper freshly ground
  • 2 tablespoons All-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons Dry sherry

Instructions 

  1. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add flour and whisk until smooth. Cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Gradually add chicken broth and milk, whisking constantly until smooth.
  4. Stir in heavy cream, crab meat, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Add sherry and cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with additional crab meat if desired.
