Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes (28 oz)
  • 1 cup fish stock
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 lb clams, scrubbed
  • 1 lb mussels, scrubbed
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb firm white fish (like cod), cut into chunks
  • 1 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, and green bell pepper. Cook until softened.
  2. Pour in white wine and simmer until reduced by half.
  3. Add crushed tomatoes, fish stock, oregano, and thyme. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. Add clams and mussels. Cover and cook until they start to open, about 5 minutes.
  5. Add shrimp and fish chunks. Cook until shrimp is pink and fish is opaque, about 5 more minutes.
  6. Stir in fresh parsley and serve hot.
