  • 4 large eggs hard-boiled
  • 1 lb sausage meat
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg beaten
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • for frying oil

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2. Peel the hard-boiled eggs and set aside.
  3. 3. Divide the sausage meat into 4 equal portions. Flatten each portion and wrap it around each egg, ensuring the egg is completely covered.
  4. 4. Roll each sausage-covered egg in the beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. 5. Carefully place the coated eggs into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Alternatively, bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes.
  6. 6. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
