Main Ingredients
- 4 large eggs hard-boiled
- 1 lb sausage meat
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg beaten
- to taste salt and pepper
- for frying oil
1. Preheat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
2. Peel the hard-boiled eggs and set aside.
3. Divide the sausage meat into 4 equal portions. Flatten each portion and wrap it around each egg, ensuring the egg is completely covered.
4. Roll each sausage-covered egg in the beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
5. Carefully place the coated eggs into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Alternatively, bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes.
6. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
