Roasted Pork Banh Mi
A delicious Vietnamese sandwich with roasted pork, pickled veggies, and fresh herbs.

Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Pork shoulder sliced thin
- 1 Baguette split lengthwise
- 1 cup Pickled carrots and daikon
- ½ cup Cilantro fresh
- ¼ cup Mayonnaise
- 1 Cucumber sliced thin
- 2 tablespoon Soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper freshly ground
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Add pork slices and marinate for 15 minutes.
Place marinated pork on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for 30-40 minutes, until fully cooked.
While the pork is roasting, prepare the baguette by spreading mayonnaise on both sides.
Once the pork is done, let it rest for a few minutes, then slice thinly.
Assemble the sandwich by layering the pork, pickled carrots and daikon, cucumber slices, and cilantro inside the baguette.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
