Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup quinoa, cooked
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil for cooking

Instructions 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, mash the black beans with a fork until mostly smooth.
  2. Add the cooked quinoa, breadcrumbs, egg, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and heated through.
