- 1 sheet Pie Crust pre-made or homemade
- 6 slices Bacon cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup Gruyere Cheese shredded
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 3 large Eggs beaten
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
- ⅛ teaspoon Nutmeg ground
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Place pie crust in a pie dish and bake for 10 minutes.
In a mixing bowl, combine beaten eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
Spread cooked bacon and shredded cheese evenly over the pie crust.
Pour the egg mixture over the bacon and cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the quiche is set and golden brown.
Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
