Ingredients

  • 2 cups Pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Ground nutmeg

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until soft.
  2. 2. Add the pumpkin puree, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Stir well.
  3. 3. Season with salt, black pepper, and ground nutmeg. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. 4. Use a blender to puree the soup until smooth.
  5. 5. Serve hot, garnished with a dollop of cream or a sprinkle of nutmeg if desired.
