Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying
  • to taste salt

Instructions 

  1. 1. Peel and thinly slice the potatoes using a mandoline slicer.
  2. 2. Rinse the potato slices in cold water to remove excess starch. Pat them dry with paper towels.
  3. 3. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  4. 4. Fry the potato slices in batches until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per batch.
  5. 5. Remove the chips from the oil and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt to taste.
