Pastrami Ingredients
- 5 lbs Beef Brisket
- ½ cup Kosher Salt
- ¼ cup Brown Sugar
- 2 tablespoon Black Pepper coarsely ground
- 2 tablespoon Coriander Seeds crushed
- 1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
- 1 tablespoon Onion Powder
- 1 tablespoon Paprika
1. Mix all the spices together in a bowl.
2. Rub the spice mixture all over the brisket.
3. Wrap the brisket in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 3 days.
4. Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
5. Smoke the brisket until it reaches an internal temperature of 195°F (90°C), about 4 hours.
6. Let the pastrami rest for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
