  • 1 pint Oysters shucked
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper freshly ground

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add the oysters and cook until their edges curl.
  3. 3. Pour in the milk and heavy cream, and heat until just about to simmer.
  4. 4. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  5. 5. Serve hot with crackers or bread.
