Overnight French Toast Casserole

- 1 loaf French bread cut into cubes
- 8 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoon vanilla extract
Topping
- ½ cup flour
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup butter cold, cut into pieces
Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. Place the bread cubes in the dish.
In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cream, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla. Pour evenly over the bread.
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, mix together flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over the bread mixture.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
