Ingredients 

Burger Mixture

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Soy Grits
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 4 Hamburger Buns
  • 1 cup Vegetable Oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, soy grits, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  2. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  3. Dredge each patty in flour, shaking off any excess.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry the patties in the hot oil until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve on hamburger buns.
