Mississippi Slugburger Recipe
A classic Southern burger made with a mix of beef and soy grits, deep-fried to perfection.

Burger Mixture
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 cup Soy Grits
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 4 Hamburger Buns
- 1 cup Vegetable Oil for frying
In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, soy grits, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Form the mixture into 4 patties.
Dredge each patty in flour, shaking off any excess.
Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
Fry the patties in the hot oil until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Drain on paper towels and serve on hamburger buns.
