  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste

Instructions 

  1. Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add the rice and cook, stirring frequently, until lightly browned.
  3. Stir in the tomato sauce and chicken broth. Add garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
  5. Fluff with a fork before serving.
