Marinated Chicken Pita Sandwich Recipe

Marinade
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
Chicken
- 1 lb Chicken Breast, thinly sliced
Sandwich
- 4 pieces Pita Bread
- 1 cup Lettuce, shredded
- 1 cup Tomatoes, diced
- ½ cup Cucumber, sliced
- ½ cup Red Onion, thinly sliced
- ½ cup Tzatziki Sauce
1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper to make the marinade.
2. Add the thinly sliced chicken breast to the marinade, mix well, and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
3. Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken slices for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
4. Warm the pita bread in a dry pan or in the oven.
5. Assemble the sandwiches by placing grilled chicken slices, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced cucumber, and thinly sliced red onion inside the pita bread. Drizzle with tzatziki sauce.
6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
