Main Ingredients
- 2 ¼ cups All-purpose flour
- 1 packet Active dry yeast
- ⅓ cup Warm milk
- 2 tablespoons Granulated sugar
- 3 Large eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 cup Butter, melted
- 1 ½ cups Pearl sugar
In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and sugar. Make a well in the center and add the eggs, vanilla extract, and the yeast mixture. Mix until well combined.
Gradually add the melted butter, mixing continuously until the dough is smooth. Cover the bowl with a clean cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
Preheat your waffle iron. Gently fold the pearl sugar into the dough.
Divide the dough into portions and cook in the preheated waffle iron until golden brown and caramelized, about 3-5 minutes per waffle.
Serve warm and enjoy!
