- 12 sheets Lasagna noodles
- 1 lb Ground beef
- 24 oz Marinara sauce
- 15 oz Ricotta cheese
- 2 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black pepper
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 Egg
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large saucepan, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with egg until well combined.
In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of meat sauce. Layer with noodles, ricotta mixture, mozzarella, and Parmesan. Repeat layers, ending with mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 25 minutes, or until cheese is golden and bubbly.
Let lasagna rest for 10 minutes before serving.
