Main Ingredients
- 4 cups Potatoes, grated
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 unit Egg beaten
- 2 tablespoon Butter for frying
1. Grate the potatoes and squeeze out excess moisture.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine grated potatoes, flour, buttermilk, baking powder, salt, and beaten egg. Mix well.
3. Heat butter in a frying pan over medium heat.
4. Drop spoonfuls of the potato mixture into the pan and flatten slightly. Cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
5. Serve hot with a dollop of sour cream or applesauce.
