Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions 

  1. Form ground beef into patties, season with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook patties in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add butter and onions. Cook until onions are soft.
  4. Sprinkle flour over onions, stir well.
  5. Gradually add beef broth, stirring constantly until thickened.
  6. Add Worcestershire sauce, return patties to skillet, and simmer for 10 minutes.
