Ingredients 

  • 2 cups milk can use any milk of choice
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon honey optional, for sweetness
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper helps in absorption of turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder optional, for flavor

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add turmeric powder, black pepper, and cinnamon powder to the milk. Whisk well.
  3. 3. Let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. 4. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Add honey if using, and stir well.
  5. 5. Pour into cups and serve warm.
