- 1 lb carrots peeled and cut into sticks
- ¼ cup butter
- ¼ cup brown sugar packed
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
2. Add the brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
3. Add the carrots and stir to coat them with the glaze.
4. Cover the pan and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the carrots are tender.
5. Serve warm.
