Garden Fresh Tomato Soup Recipe
A simple, delicious tomato soup made from fresh garden tomatoes.

Main Ingredients
- 6 cups fresh tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
2. Add chopped onions and garlic, sauté until soft.
3. Add chopped tomatoes and cook for 10 minutes.
4. Pour in vegetable broth, add salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 20 minutes.
5. Use a blender to puree the soup until smooth.
6. Stir in fresh basil before serving.
