  • 4 large Russet Potatoes peeled and cut into strips
  • 1 quart Vegetable Oil for frying
  • to taste Salt

Instructions 

  1. 1. Peel and cut potatoes into strips.
  2. 2. Soak potato strips in cold water for at least 30 minutes.
  3. 3. Heat oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  4. 4. Fry potatoes in batches for 5-6 minutes until golden brown.
  5. 5. Remove and drain on paper towels. Season with salt.
