Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Beef chuck roast
  • 1 packet Dry onion soup mix
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 4 rolls French rolls
  • 4 slices Provolone cheese

Instructions 

  1. Place beef chuck roast in a slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle dry onion soup mix over the roast.
  3. Pour beef broth into the slow cooker.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Remove roast from slow cooker and shred with a fork.
  7. Place shredded beef on French rolls, top with provolone cheese.
  8. Bake in preheated oven until cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.
  9. Serve sandwiches with a small bowl of the cooking liquid for dipping.
