  • 12 oz fettuccine
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. 3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  4. 4. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese. Continue to stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  5. 5. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. 6. Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
