- 4 hot dogs
- 4 hot dog buns
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent.
3. Stir in the tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and yellow mustard. Simmer for 15 minutes.
4. While the sauce is simmering, cook the hot dogs in a saucepan of boiling water for about 5 minutes, or until heated through.
5. Place each hot dog in a bun and top with the meat sauce. Serve immediately.
