Main Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 large Onion, chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 500 g Ground beef
- 2 tablespoon Chili powder
- 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 can Diced tomatoes 400g can
- 1 can Kidney beans, drained and rinsed 400g can
- 1 cup Beef broth
- 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper to taste
Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a wooden spoon as it cooks.
Stir in the chili powder, ground cumin, and paprika. Cook for another 2 minutes.
Add the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, and beef broth. Bring to a simmer.
Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve hot, garnished with your favorite toppings.
