Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 large Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 500 g Ground beef
  • 2 tablespoon Chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 can Diced tomatoes 400g can
  • 1 can Kidney beans, drained and rinsed 400g can
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a wooden spoon as it cooks.
  4. Stir in the chili powder, ground cumin, and paprika. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. Add the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, and beef broth. Bring to a simmer.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with your favorite toppings.
