Ingredients 

Chicken Marinade

  • 500 g Chicken Breast sliced
  • 3 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano dried
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper ground

Tzatziki Sauce

  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dill chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper ground

To Serve

  • 4 pieces Pita Bread
  • 1 cup Tomato diced
  • 1 cup Cucumber diced
  • 0.5 cup Red Onion sliced

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add chicken slices and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. 2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated chicken until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  3. 3. In another bowl, mix Greek yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, dill, salt, and pepper to make the tzatziki sauce.
  4. 4. Warm the pita bread in a skillet or oven.
  5. 5. Assemble the gyros by placing chicken, tzatziki sauce, tomato, cucumber, and red onion on the pita bread. Serve immediately.
