- 1 whole Chicken cleaned
- 2 large Carrots chopped
- 2 stalks Celery chopped
- 1 large Onion quartered
- 3 cloves Garlic smashed
- 1 tablespoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Pepper
- 8 cups Water
1. Place the chicken in a large pot and cover with water.
2. Add carrots, celery, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper.
3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours.
4. Remove chicken and strain the broth.
5. Let cool and store in the refrigerator.
