Chicken a la King
A classic, creamy chicken dish with mushrooms, bell peppers, and peas, served over rice or pasta.

- 2 cups Cooked Chicken, diced
- 1 cup Mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup Bell Peppers, diced
- ½ cup Frozen Peas
- ¼ cup Butter
- ¼ cup All-Purpose Flour
- 2 cups Chicken Broth
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- to taste Salt and Pepper
1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the mushrooms and bell peppers, and cook until tender.
2. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until it forms a paste.
3. Gradually whisk in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Cook until thickened.
4. Stir in the heavy cream, cooked chicken, and peas. Cook until heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5. Serve over rice or pasta.
