Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Beef flank steak thinly sliced
- 6 slices Bacon chopped
- 1 cup Pinto beans cooked
- 4 cups Beef broth
- 1 cup Water
- 1 Onion chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 2 tablespoon Cilantro chopped
- 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper to taste
1. In a large pot, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
2. In the same pot, add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent.
3. Add the thinly sliced beef to the pot and cook until browned.
4. Pour in the beef broth and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
5. Add the cooked pinto beans, crispy bacon, chopped cilantro, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for another 10 minutes.
6. Serve hot with your favorite toppings like lime wedges, chopped onions, and more cilantro.
