Marinade Ingredients
- ½ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup lime juice freshly squeezed
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
- ½ cup cilantro chopped
- 2 lbs flank steak
In a large bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, black pepper, and cilantro.
Place the flank steak in a large resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the steak, seal the bag, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
Preheat the grill to high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade.
Grill the steak for 5-7 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain. Serve and enjoy!
