Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Black Beans cooked
- 1 cup Rice uncooked
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 Onion chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 cups Water
- 1 cup Chicken Broth
1. Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat.
2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent.
3. Stir in cumin and salt.
4. Add rice and stir to coat with oil and spices.
5. Pour in water and chicken broth, bring to a boil.
6. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
7. Stir in cooked black beans, cover, and cook for another 5 minutes.
8. Fluff rice with a fork and serve warm.
